I remember him playing. Seems like he messed his knee up on his senior year. He was only 42.
He was from Millington.

I'm from Millington but graduated 9 years before him. I watched him play a lot in high school. He was a beast. I didn't know what happened to him after college. Sad to hear he died so young. Rest in peace young man.
 
Fentanyl has definitely changed the drug game. Playing Russian roulette every time you touch them. Sad deal!
This really saddens me. I posted this on another thread, but my son started playing basketball against Ahmed in the 8th grade thru 12th. It was clear Ahmed was a footballer first, but he was a heck of a basketball player.

After Bartlett, where my son played, beat the crap out of Millington in the district tournament, he told my son that he'd never seen a white boy play ball so good. My son, and I, considered this a nice complement. His Mom was with him when he said it and they both seemed like genuinely nice, grounded folk.
