That didn't keep me from giving one a face full of TSS this afternoon. Didn't hear a peep this morning and I tried several spots at the magical hour so I didn't have high hopes for today. Did a lot of walking and calling looking for sign and didn't find anything fresh at all since the rain Friday. Ended up going to a hardwood flat and blind calling. 30 minutes later my gobbler lounger has me almost to sleep when I hear an excited yelp. I come to my senses and give her an excited yelp back with a few cuts on the end with my new ghost cut and she lost it. She closed the distance quick and before long I could see that there were several birds and multiple red heads. The strutter was in front right behind the boss hen trying to keep up. The subs were all standing back watching the show and a show they were about to get. I let him walk into a gap and let the benelli eat.
