I have said all along that this one should be quite a blowout. I'll be a little surprised if OU doesn't get some offense going, but they won't (can't) stop Bama. OU has abysmal defense

Players were playing with a lot of emotion in that game. Surprised more flags weren't thrown. Bama came out of the gate swinging but left the door open for a lot of big plays later in the game.
Championship game ought to be a good one. It's the one game I wont be able to watch due to it being on a Monday night and me working 3rd shift. I'm sure we will all be glued to our phones for updates.

Closer outcome than I expected. I went to bed early in the third quarter, but Alabama's offense was slowing down and going conservative at that point, leading to the inevitable decline. Did that keep up, or did Oklahoma all of a sudden start playing defense? Not many points weee scored after the half

Oklahoma should have gone for Td's rather than fg's, would have been much closer, also the first onside kick was too earl. I still wonder why he went for the last extra point

Agree.
They actually made it closer than anyone figured and had chances to steal the W.
What makes the FGs even more questionable is the fact that you've got Murray as your QB with so many options.
Here's hoping for a close NC game, unless of course Clemson blows them out, in which case the whole CFB world would be giddy.

In all seriousness OU got out coached in this game . There were lots of opportunities missed . Probably why for three straight years OU has not played for a NC .

I hate to admit it but I was for Bama and when they came out and hit them in the mouth I was loving it but give credit to OU for hanging in there and making a game of it.
