I am very surprised by Bama's basketball success. I wonder if the Tuscaloosa fan base will get behind them. Thinking about the recent improvements, did Auburn's basketball investments and hiring of Pearl motivate Alabama to improve?

Bamamonts is one of the few alabama fans that is not here to troll. My comment was a joke, and I feel certain he saw it that way. We have had some good discussions here and I'm glad he posts here. He doesn't like Tennessee any more than I like alabama, but we get along.

I don't mind the response. People pulling for different teams is what makes it fun. When you have good intended ribbing makes it fun.
I'm sure that was a big part of it. It seems that the fan's support the basketball program pretty good. It's easy to get people to come out when have good teams and Nate Oats has them rolling. I hope they can keep him.

That's how I took it. Jokes like that makes sports fun. If everybody hollered Roll Tide or Go Vols it wouldn't be any fun.
I also agree about not liking each others teams and getting along.

BTW, I know the alabama fans are only fans of women's sports if it's softball, because the softball team wins a lot, but the Lady Vols whooped the Lady Gumps Sunday.

I did watch the soccer tournament where the Bama girls did good but couldn't really get into it. I do enjoy watching softball. The sec has several good softball teams. I like baseball but Bama doesn't field good teams.
I will watch the Lady Vols if I happen to catch it on, but I don't set a clock for it. Soccer of any kind is a hard no for me. I love college baseball and softball though. I wish they got more TV coverage.Haha I saw that but I don't really keep up with women's basketball.
