Does anyone have pictures of the albino buck that was hit in Chapel Hill? It has been around several years and has had pics posted on here before. It was hit by a car this year and the state took the deer but I was shown a picture of it dead and it was a very impressive buck. I will see if I can get a picture to post but was wondering if anyone had one or more info on it.

That sure is a beautiful buck! I may be wrong but it looks more like a piebald instead of an albino. A true albino has a pink nose and eyes.
It's hard to see from pics but I got to see other close ups of it and eyes, nose, and feet were all pinkish white. Only color on it was forehead from rubbing trees and tarsals glands

Personally, Idk why it's so bad to kill an albino. I don't really get why it's illegal here. They are beautiful creatures though.

What a beautiful animal. Ok, I'll ask....how/what makes an albino buck? If you say a buck and a doe, we can't be friends 😂

Is it just a genetic thing that happens?
