All SEC World Series.......

Yep. SEC is THE best conference for baseball ...... and softball. Hands down. I'll probably root for the Gators, but I really admire the LSU baseball coach.

As I'm apparently the only non-SEC fan left in this forum, it's my duty to point out that it was an all Big Ten lacrosse final this year.

Given trends, check back with me in 20 years, maybe five.

Bet you guys didn't know Johns Hopkins participates in the Big Ten in Lacrosse and next year so will Notre Dame. Among other obvious reasons, that's why it will be Virginia and Virginia Tech when the Big Ten expands to 16 and not Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: does OSU even have a baseball team? Outside of football what else are they competitive in? Basketball? No... Baseball or Softball? No... So they are a ONE sport school. :)

Crazy thing is... The is not even close to being the best team UF has had recently. But they had clutch hits and great pitching this postseason.
 
The year vandy won and the year after that I think Florida was the best team in the country. The stars just didn't align for them.
 
Not to hijack but did anyone see the super regionals where vandy got beat by Oregon state?
The pitcher that shut vandy down is a great player. Butt,,, he is a child molestor. Raped a five year old hen he was like sixteen and never registered as a sex offender until he was found out. Oregon state acted as if it was no big deal.
Dude should not be on a ball field.

yeah.... he quit when they made it to the World series.
 
Watched the last 3 innings. Wow LSU choked. The sliding interference, or whatever you call it, was a game changer. Putting the runner back on 3rd is an asinine part of that rule in that situation.

But, UF made some nice plays in the 8th.
