Have a small WMA by my house that is accessed by boat only unless you have permission to cross the private in front of it which I do. It's like right across from my house so it's nice and has a bird I chased all year last year and actually missed him at 25yds last spring.
Just went in and set up and had him gobble. Called 1x and shut up. Wouldn't you know he comes in from the one side I can't see or shoot. He busted me at 20yds. Could have shot him then but didn't want to finally claim this bird while he was putting and walking away, just not have I envisioned it!
May go after him in the am though and maybe he will mess up 1 more time
