Well I have just started Bow Hunting this winter and I have seen several deer but yesterday I was about to fall asleep and I looked left and standing right in my shooting lane 22 yards was a big 8 point. I froze hoping he would put his head down so I could draw. He stuck his nose in the air looked right at me blew and ran off. The wind was wrong and I am still not brave enough to climb high as I should in my climber but it was a heart racing encounter!! Bow hunting is so cool!! I have been please to be able to see deer this year but man that was so cool having one come in that close. You can find deer on public land! I really want to find a close lease though.
