Seems I am the last man standing still hunting with a recurve ... I had a 4 pt chasing some does Fri morning. I will be back at it opening day of rifle with the stick and string

Not alone that's all I hunt with all season. Feels funny walking to your hunting spot wearing blaze and carrying a recurve. lol

i plan on popping a few does with the rifle to get some meat in the freezer then going back to the bow myself.

and I feel like a billboard wearing orange but I do feel like it breaks your outline against the sky. if deer see orange as grey, the grey will blend in the sky better than the dark MO pattern.

I wish I could still walk because I can still pull a bowstring just not get around.

Locksley, are you still in the VA hospital? just wondered if there are any motorized options for you to get out in the woods.

Yes I am still here but can not leave on passes long enough to hunt any , and it takes a host lift to get me in my electric wheelchair so these things limit my getting out to hunt. I hope to be able to stand and transfer to another wheelchair or 4x4 in the future though . GOD willing.

There are a couple of recurve guys where I hunt. I found 2 nice recurve arrows a few weeks ago within a foot of each other.
