Am I the only one

Who lays in my bed reading about killing Turkeys and gets so wound up I have trouble going to sleep, so I will be tired in the morning when I wake up that the thought of sleeping in will cross my mind?

I can usually go to sleep but it might be late before I even go to bed...I may only get 2 or 3 hours of sleep before opening morning, but somehow have enough steam to hunt through the whole day.

Anyone notice if you're lacking sleep and go hunting and kill something, you are wide awake the rest of the day? If I come home empty handed im ready for a nap. If I come home with a deer or turkey, I do the butchering and everything and then I'm hyped up all day until I finally crash again late at night. I remember my first deer I killed I was awake for 22 hours that day after only 2 hours of sleep the night before.

I'm gone for 4 weeks at a time for work and I lose sleep when it's hunting season because I lay in bed thinking about deer and turkeys. A lot of people don't understand what it's like to have the burning desire to hunt
