went hunting with Nimrod today. it was pretty foggy when we arrived at yanahli around 5:30. we got beat (later found out it was by tndeer member kill minister and yes he killed a tom) to where i wanted to set us up so we went to the back of the property. we had toms to the left and right of us. we had one come in and hang up at 60+ yds and another come in and take a look at 50 yds or so he quickly ran off. the one at 60+ yds i went back in to the woods and made my way towards him (extremely thick and loud) when i came out of the woods he was around 30 yds in to the field i quickly threw up and shot and missed. looking back on it i wish i would have taken more time and made a good shot. hopefully i will get a chance tomorrow. minus Nimrod tomorrow gotta go solo on sundays lol great morning all in all. debating same spot or different one
 
Don't feel bad as I missed too and still don't know how but it happens. I'll be back in the morning before church and hopefully he'll do the same thing with a different outcome. Hoped to put my new jellyhead choke in and shoot it with magnum blends but had to mow and go to baseball when I got back. Game went extra innings and was too dark when I got home. Good luck in the morning.
 
i would have liked to tried again today but i got called in to work at 9:30 got out of the woods at 10:30 good luck tomorrow

hit me up sometime I hear you killed a nice one... actually I saw that on facebook... I almost killed one this evening on yanahli, can't wait to be back out there sometime this week
