I can honestly say I do not fully understand the "lockout". However, I feel both sides make enough money's to come together and move forward. How long will they keep this up? MLB lost a lot of support in '94 due to the players strike. Did neither side not learn from that?
 
I'm with the players, this time around. For me it's about how little the young players make compared to the other professional sports. Players' money has actually majorly decreased when you factor in inflation, yet the owners effectively pretend it never happened.

That's when it lost me. Grew up a big Dodger fan because my dad was a fan.

When he was a teenager, he listened to their games on the radio when they were in Brooklyn, and followed his Fandom to LA. He usually took us to a series when they were in Cincinnati and Atlanta.

I haven't really missed it, although he is still a Dodger fan. I couldn't name more than a half dozen current players total.
