Just checked my foot mileage today while hunting

Was a long day and I just got done running 4 miles to add to this 11 miles

I know how you feel but I'm not in shape like you are lol. I been getting up at 4:30am to go hunting till 9 then going to work where I'm on my feet till 7 or 8pm. My legs and feet are killing me. Plus I still haven't killed one yet.
 
Crap, that was a bad day...

On a good day, I'll typically cover 1-2 miles (because I spend a lot of time calling and working a bird rather than just walking and blind calling)

On an average day, I'll cover 3-4 miles....

On a really bad day, I'll cover 5 miles, and then I'm wanting a glass of tequila to drown my sorrows that afternoon :)

That was crazy high for me but I did go to 4 farms today and covered way more ground due to the wind. Normal day if I hunt a lot is around 4 miles or so
 
Heck yeah REN, that is my kind of day chasing old 3-tow. Our best day was 10.71 miles and 90 flights of stairs (up and down elevation changes), and we average 7-8 miles each day. It was hard work and exhausting, but very rewarding once we sealed the deal. I had to come back to work to get some rest, take some Advil and let the soreness work it's way out. Good luck rest of the season.
 
That's awesome. You've got me wondering what I do on a normal day. My watch is set to beep after ever mile and I need to change the setting through the computer and download it (lots of effort) so it doesn't do this. I'll try to do that sometime this week and keep track.
