Had seen this before but came across it on YT. As a Cubs fan I still rooted for this guy. Hated to see it gone down the way it did. But talk about a perseverance story…
I remember him playing for the braves for a season hitting that ball out of the stadium in the 11th inning against SF in the playoffs. I remember watching highlights of him throwing out base runners with dots from the outfield.
I also found himself rooting for this guy his whole career.
