I've never seen a scrape at this location before. Hunt this area often walk by it often. This year a scrape pops up under this limb and lots of different bucks (button buck, spikes and up to 8 pointers) are on my trail camera. Here are just a few pics. I have lots more of different bucks. Most are rubbing their face on the limb rather peeing in the scrape or pawing it.

They will chew and bite on it to get their saliva on it. They will rub their faces on it to deposit scent from their pre-orbital glands. They will wind their antlers through it to deposit scent from their forehead gland. Amazing how much scent marking goes on with a simple branch hanging down.

I'm intrigued by how fascinated button bucks are with scrapes. I have video after video of button bucks displaying extremely odd behavior at scrapes. It's as if they really like all those smells, and know they're supposed to do "something" with it, but don't know exactly what so they end up just acting like fools!
