College football is such a better product than the NFL. Another Saturday, another day and night of compelling college football, except if you are an SEC fan. I thought the second to last Saturday of the season was chicken$%@t Saturday.
Cincy v. UM - the fightin' Fickels stand no chance against the Skunk Weasels
FAU v. Wisky - Lane going down hard again. Wouldn't be surprised he's doing color commentary on CBS next year.
Northwestern v. Duke - the nerd bowl. Wildcats are supposed to be good as they embark on a season ending with another blow-out loss to the Vols in some mediocre bowl somewhere.
Iowa v. Iowa State - in-state rivalry game. I'm going with my Mount Union alum. Go Cyclones!
Pitt v. Penn State - Nittany Lions roll in this revenge game.
TCU v. Arkie - one SEC exception. I can't stand Bert. Go Frogs.
Nebraska v. Oregon - Huskers struggled against Arkie State, but I think they come away with the W.
WMU v MSU - I'm not buying Sparty. Broncos looked real good against the Trojans for 3 + quarters.
Auburn v. Clemson. The other SEC exception. Clemson is the best team in college football until someone beats them and it won't be Auburn.
UGA v. ND - GO DAWGS! This is not an exception.
WKU v Chief Illiniwek - what an embarrassment for the Big Ten. Who does CBS want more, Lovie Smith or Lane Kiffin?
Stanford v. USC - I think the Trojans are overrated and the Cardinal come out on top.
And last, but certainly not least, the 40th anniversary of "The Kick." Sooners don't have Uwe Van Schaman this time. This game, and Baker Mayfield, have me worried, but I think the Buckeyes roll in the second half.
