This guy is actually very mature. Looking at your first picture he is 4.5+. He will blow up in November.

I will not be putting the trail camera up anymore in that area but I will be hunting him every chance I get so I hope a picture of him dead will do :D

Also does anyone else think his legs are strangely short? Maybe he is just big bodied so they look little?

On a 4.5+ year old they will appear to have stubby legs but it's just due to a deeper chest and belly sag that give the appearance of short legs. I would love to see a picture of him Mid November.

That is generally a sign of maturity. When a buck's legs look too short for his body, assume he is mature.

I thought it looked like a long body rather than short legs... I was gonna say 2.5 or 3.5 but what do you say BSK?

This guy is really tough. That's why I want to see a picture of him in late October or early November. In the posted pictures, he has characteristics of a both a 3 1/2 and a 4 1/2.

Like I said before, hopefully a picture won't be needed(:

I will be hunting him on the youth rifle hunt and if I am fortunate enough to harvest him I will get him officially aged. If I don't get him tht weened Ive got all rifle season and black powder.

Sorry for double posting but I remembered that I have one pic of him out of velvet(IDK if that will help any though)

I also uploaded another pic that showed his headgear from a nice angle(:

Sorry the one without velvet is so low quality but for the price my little tasco camera works good enough.
