Saved it, it was only out for a few days and I was too curious and had to check it. 3 young bucks with nubs, a few doe, a couple with very big bellies (hope to get fawn pics). but I had to take the camera home and will spray it with something before putting it back out.

I lost my Wildview camera due to ants getting inside and ruining everything. I had it out for a couple months and it quit taking pictures a couple weeks before I checked it.

Well the area flooded recently but the ants were still there. When I checked my Moultrie today after only a few days there were ants in the batteries. I don't know really how they got in, apparently it's not as well sealed as I thought. My only working camera right now so I can't lose it. going to spray it down with some nasty bug killer and put it back out.

Anybody else had problems with ants getting into their cameras?

I have, and it was a wildview. I don't know what it is, but I just assumed it was a nice dry place for them to make a nest. I have had a moultrie out just like you for about two weeks. Hopefully they aren't in it.

Ants love electrical connections because of the warmth.....the acid in their body will destroy those same connections...........

3 weeks ago I put out 2 of my Moutries. I hope they are okay, ran them for 3 years, year round in WI never had an issue with anything on them except the plastic on the straps breaking. I plan on checking the cards and battries this weekend along with some trash lcean up.

I hope they survive TN for a bit.
