Never been there but on the highest ridge you can find and listen, look for sign if you get a chance and listen in that area. GOOD LUCK!

Get away from the fields and get on a ridge top. Cover lots of ground if you have too

USE PLENTY OG BUG SPRAY! Ticks are bad.Mosquitoes too.
We had this past weekend and heard plenty of gobbling on Thursday from multiple birds. I meant to use that day to locate birds and hunt'em hard Fri and Sat. Fortunately I killed Thursday so I did not have to hunt the nasty weather down there. My brother hunted Friday in the rain and missed one. No gobbles but had hens and 2 strutters that he knew were there from Thursdays hunt. came by. Just missed. Starting to get late but get on a ridgetop looking down at the lake and you will hear gobbling, but then again, you probably will hear gobbling bout anywhere you go unless you are down in a hole.
