Any Cocke county hunters?

Anyone turkey hunt in cocke county? How are the birds doing there? I just permission to hunt a new farm up there and was just trying to touch base with someone who new turkey

I hunt in Cocke county, birds are still grouped up but I did kill a bird on Saturday morning. I was calling to two birds with a group of hens that were tearing the woods down when he snuck in behind me and gobbled at about 20 yds. Then he strutted around for a couple of minutes while I tried to figure out what to do, finally he went behind a tree and I was able to get turned around for a shot. 20 lbs, 1" spurs and 9" beard.
