One of my buddies had an arrow deflect off a limb and made for about the worst shot place imaginable! Deer ran 40 yards and collapsed! Shot in the keister! Rages can kill if the only come near an animal!...Ok, ok I know luck shot and severed femoral artery, but still...

my bro-in-law's 1st bowkill was on a similar shot with a rocky mtn. fixed blade(no mechs back then). it wasn't the broadhead.

I agree. That's what the last sentance of my post meant. Femoral artery is the femoral artery, lucky shot and any broad head that severed the artery would probably have brought down the animal but "It's like throwing an axe through an animal" was already taken so I had to come up with something..."Rage Broadheads; they're a pain in the ...."

Thats one of the deadliest shots he hut the main artery that supply's blood to the rear half of the body

i promise it ain't the broad head!! because i did it with a Ultimate steel 75 that is only a 1" cutting dia.

Almost bought these at BPS the other day. Stopped while reading they fly identical to field points...practice head included. :(

Instead I went with the Tropy Ridge Undertaker as I know they fly identical to my field points.
