Just curious if thers any High Country fans still around, last I heard they were try'n to make a come back but havent heard much about them lately.

They went through a little stage that needs to be put behind them but I hear nothing but good from their new line out. Fast too.

I shoot one of their Brute Force Bows and love it. I am sure its antiquated by today's standards but it is a quality bow. They were some of the first to have the vibration dampening pockets before Sims came out with all their sound dampening technology. Also, they had the cams that were adjustable so you could set it up for the P&Y let off if you wanted. I hope the company makes a comeback but regardless, I like their bows.

My first HC was a Safari, it was bomb proof & lasted for years, finally replaced it about 5 years ago with a premier pro and it seems to be typical HC, fast, quiet, easy shooter.

Would love to try one of the new models and would also love to see them regain ther stature as one of the best in the biz.

I have shot them for a long time. Actually up to last year. Sold my HCA Iron Mace and bought a Bowtech. Wish I would have saved my money and kept shooting the Iron Mace. May go back and try another HCA bow next year.

Yeah its a shooter. They actually have a new set of strings and a module or something that will give it around 20 more fps. I haven't gotten it yet as its already shooting over 300 with a 400 grain arrow.
