Just got a kayak last year and have had it out on several lakes/rivers in the Johnson City/Kingsport area. Cant say I have seen any others out fishing on yaks. Anybody else getting after em on yaks?

I want one so bad it is killing me, however I am what they call "full figured" so I am still a little reluctant to get one just yet. I do know that Boone is on
fire right now. caught 2 nice smallmouth and 9 keeper crappie in a little over 2 hours this morning on live minnows.
Saw a school of stripers that had 9 fish, and not a one was under 30"

Good intel, thanks. I am not petite myself so don't let that stop ya. Different yaks have different weight ratings so find one that suits you and take off.
