No it's not. The new regs don't go into effect until 8/1 I believe

The season will officially open the day after deer season ends and will run through the second Sunday in March. The season will pick back up the first Saturday in June and run through the second Sunday in August.

i am wanting to try it but i need a couple of questions answered. i am 82 and have COPD and on oxygen. my questtions are how close to the set up can i park my truck and still have a decent chance and what color light?

Was out yesterday trying to find whatever was drawing in buzzards this time. Found more hog trails, saw zero deer, coyotes or squirrels. Several very large feline pug marks in the mud along the pond, overflow creek and a hog wallow. Keep catching bobcats and coyotes on the 1 game cam set up between the pond and back holler. Never see them when out and about.
