Pulling 60lbs with 315gr arrow and shooting 260fps. Looking for more speed, but don't what go any lighter on arrow weight.Any ideas?

What is the length of your arrow?

Not sure which rest your using, but you could gain a little speed with a drop away.

I've never had any dealings with PSE bows, but I would think they would be faster than that.

28.5 inch arrow
nap Apach Drop-Away Arrow Rest
Had the bow tuned this year by eagle wings archery.
Want to get 280+, if I can't then it sold after deer season.

To get close to 280 you are going to have to max out the poundage. It may max out around 72-74lbs, if it has 60-70lb limbs. My omen is a 60-70 and maxes out at 75lb. The Bow Madness is a sweet bow and is smooth. The speed trip isnt all its cut out to be imo.

I shoot an XS. I don't know how fast it is though. With the way it shoots, I don't really care. IMO speed is overrated.

My old bow was shooting 307fps, wanted a smaller bow which I got. Going from 307fps to 260fps is a big change. The XS shoots great, but getting use to the arrow drop is hard.

Easton flatline DOA's 7.4 gpi will get you down on weight a little. Best arrows I've tried. Heck 260fps when I started was smokin! :D

Also, I'm not nocking your rig or anything but those strings on and cables on those bows suck! I put an after market string on mine and got 9fps from that alone. Just an idea for ya.

Bought a new bow madness the 34 in axle to axle
Im shooting 298fps with a 9 grn a in axis 400 at 68 lb draw
Using a flat line arrow cut at 27 in its shooting at 316 to 318 fps
Same length arrows one is 9. Grn a inch n the other is 7.4

I bought the xs this year.love the bow but man I thought it would be faster then it is.60 lbs 30 inch draw 8.6 epic. I have some 70 lb limbs for the xs i might sell if anyone wants them
