ANY SUCCESS ON THE LBL YOUTH HUNT??

Me and my daughter went and it was dead after fly down heard several on roost got on a bird just didn't pan out after he hit the ground .we was there till 3:00 and didn't hear a shot. But we had a rather large time .

Heard 3 on the roost way off and nothing after hitting the ground. Had 2 come in silent 150 or so yards but wouldnt cross ditch between us.
went to south welcome station at 11:30 and only 3 had been checked in.
Headed back to piney and seen a group of 4 toms and 2 singles standing on side of ridges rite off the road !
Heard only two shots all day and seen or heard nothing this evening.
Will try it again the morning !

Thats awesome ! Congrats to the kiddos !

We were not able to hunt yesterday due to our baseball jamboree but went up last night and hunted this morning. Heard three maybe four birds on the roost and got on the closest one. He gobbled 8-10 times and got quiet. Stopped by the welcome station at lunch and there were 8 checked in yesterday and two today, all longbeards
