I've always wanted to fish in a tournament just for the fun of it. Me and a buddy have been talking about that lately. I live in West Tennessee.

If you have a boat, check out Cedar City Bass Anglers on Facebook. It's a good group. 1-man tournaments. We have 5 regular tournaments in the summer, plus a Top 10 and a Classic. There is also an Open tournament (2-man) every Tuesday evening out of Davis Corner boat ramp for $20/man.

I live in Sumner Co right off Vietnam Veterans and fish for fun. I wouldn't mind throwing a tournament or two in this year. I don't have a boat.....but I do have gas money . I just moved off Old Hickory last year so I don't know the lake to well yet but looking to learn.

If you have a boat that floats then your tournament ready. No need to run 85mph down the lake or have electronics that cost more than your truck.
Plenty of money has been won out of good ole jon boats for years!
