Anybody Takin' a Kid in the Morning?

I'm taking my 11 yr old on her 2nd hunt ever. The first was last week on the Juvy hunt in terrible conditions, but she was a trooper and we hunted anyway in a blind. Didn't hear or see anything on the hunt but saw 6 in a field going home. Tomorrow promises to be one of those unforgettable days - low of 40 tonight, high of 70 with winds at 3 mph at daybreak (Fayette Co.). Just hope she hears one gobble and hopefully one work. I think that'll hook her. It's just priceless getting the gear together and seeing her excitement.

mine had his last weekend now its daddys turn, lol he decided to go to sevierville this weekend with mamaw and papaw since he killed a little ole 25lber last weekend, good luck guys

My son will have his 20 gauge with some Hevishot #7 sitting right beside me. My youngest daughter is going to tag along too. We'll be setup at the same tree we were last year opening day when my son and I doubled. Hopefully the birds will come in like they did last weekend. And this time I hope we seal the deal!
