Keeping track of miles walked etc

So far a week in I've covered 38 miles, I've climbed 493 floors, and have 87,000 steps in 5 hunts.

I've never tracked it before but am kind of shocked by how much ground I cover. The long walls haven't even begun either because of non vocal birds and wide open woods

I actually gauge how good it is by the number of miles walked.... I seem to average 1 bird for every 5 to 6 miles covered.

Good days are a kill less than 4 miles, bad days are more than 8 miles in a day.

Last trip was a fluke. 3 birds in only 5 miles walked.

I've been lazy and camped 2 spots for 2 hours each today, so I've only done 6 miles for the entire day. Just don't have the desire to kill at this point, but love being in birds and talking to them.

Putting 3 Tom's to bed right now for tomorrow

Last year on one of my trips I did 30 miles in 3.5 days and only managed 3 birds.

I do. I'm a runner and when I'm healthy and preparing for a race, average 45-50 miles a week. During turkey season my mileage goes up about 50% is excellent low-impact "training" and with hills, gullies, crawling, and duck-walking...adds some diversity to the exercise regimen.

36.3 miles in 6 days. Did a considerable amount kayaking to keep the walking down. Amazing how a phone knows your paddling and not walking.
