I am a hardcore deer hunter, however over the past 10 years I often find myself getting more excited for the arrival of turkey season than deer season. Maybe it is due to the length of our deer season or it may be due to the challenge turkey hunting presents but I know turkey season has become my favorite time to be in the woods.

Turkey and I haven't even shot my first bird (I keep saying that so you probably know by now).

went deer hunting twice last year on public land and without success, but I will be doing it again this fall. Still I am much more pumped about turkey season. Even my shotgun is pumped about it...... ha ha ha :/

Lee i am in your boat (not literally lol) i have been a hardcore deer hunter all my life but over the past 10 years i could give it up for turkey hunting. I just love the spring woods!

Ive started liking turkey more and more as time goes by. Get to hear them gobble, weather is fairly warm, and usually dont have to deal with so many slobs. I was in Iraq during turkeey last year so I am really looking forward to this one.

Rather be turkey hunting than anything cant say it for sure but I don't know that I wouldnt rather be duck hunting but only been once I love it

Can't get here fast enough. Lookin forward to startin the season off March 5th back home in Florida.
