i am trying to find the pictures but had a buddy shoot one in Smith County a few years back...it was actually my turn to shoot but i let him go ahead! ended up having double spurs on both legs shortest being just over an Inch. it was pretty awesome and he has owed me BIG ever since.

just wondering if anyone else has shot a bird with double spurs. It was the first and only one i have seen with them.

I will get lucky this spring, on april 2 at 7am I will shoot my first bird, 12 and 10 inch double beard with 1.5 and 1 inch double spurs.

Actually I have heard once or twice of birds killed with double spurs and it would be cool to shoot one I imagine. Just make sure he's dead before picking him up so you dont get your hands cut off.... ;)

i left him a message to send me the pics of it...it was about 4-5 years ago now and not real sure why I happened to think about it this morning.

man it was cool but never have heard or seen of another one since. i still hunt the same property and have taken prob 10-15 birds off it since then and none have had them. if he can find them i will post them.

I should be clear, I am not saying it is impossible, just that it would new to me. Looking forward to the pics.

Heres one I killed a few years ago on public land.

My younger brother's first bird had three on each leg, I will take a pic when I go to his house. He has a beautiful pedestal mount of it. It had 1 3/8, 1/2 and 1/4 in on each leg.
