Got an older shotgun that was once painted. Wanting to redo the paint job. Was wondering what color schemes anyone has used for base coat, layer, etc. what do you use to remove existing paint?

There is some paint out there that actually bakes on for a hard finish, but it is pricey. The Krylon seems to stay on very well, but insect repellent on your hands will eat it off.
I've also done a couple of guns with the fabric type of the camo tape. It works very well. I don't like the non-fabric camo tape as it is much too shiney.
