I'm headed to Southeast Missouri later this week for several days of turkey hunting, primarily in Wayne and Bollinger counties. Does anyone have a report on the gobbling and the foliage in this area? Thanks.
Hunted there for 20 years straight until 5 years ago. Decided to go back this year.Boll Weevil said:SKFOOTER: You ever hunt there before?

10-4. The Bootheel is not known for many turkeys is the reason I ask. Flat, timberless, featureless, and endless cotton, rice, and wheat. If you've had good places though, hopefully you're all set.SKFOOTER said:Hunted there for 20 years straight until 5 years ago.
Maybe along I-55 but that's not the case in the Poplar Bluff/Greenville areas that I have hunted.Boll Weevil said:10-4. The Bootheel is not known for many turkeys is the reason I ask. Good luck to you.
