My wife has been wanting to start shooting with me since I have been practicing for deer season. She shot bows back in college and she could barely pull back 25# any Ideas on what I should get her.

Browning Adrenaline XP is what my wife started off with. Now she is shooting the PSE X-Force SS SD

My wife has a Mathews Ignition. She loves it! I got her a cheap bow to start with and she got discouraged real quick because it wasn't the most accurate thing in the world. She kept saying she couldn't shoot it well and I told her practice practice practice. Then I tried to show her it could group good and I couldn't even get it to. So we sold it and got her a Mathews Ultra 2. She done well shooting with it and then she shot that Ignition last year and fell in love with it and actually bought it herself. That Ignition is a great bow for the price. It's about 2" too short for me but even I like shooting it. Easy drawing, smooth shooting, quiet, and deadly accurate. You can find them for about $300 new and a little less than that used.

Hey trealtree, My wife also shoots a Mathews Ignition. It is a great little bow. Her weight is 40pds and 24 inch draw. The bows go from 30 to 50 pds. Hers is set at 40 and is a blast to shoot. The guys up at L&C sporting Goods in Smithville hooked her up with this bow. If you are around Manchester come by and she can shoot it if you want.
