An older bow they'd like to get rid of? Doesn't have to be the best. just looking for something to start out with and get some practice in. You can either reply here or send pm with details

I have a couple of bows I can let go, couple of Mathews and a Hoyt. I do have an older High Country that a buddy of mine wants to sell and I can make you a great offer on that one.

The willingness of people on this site to help people get into our sport is awesome. I wish I had a bow right now I could help with but just not in that position. Things like this are the small things that will keep our sport growing and prospering.

still looking. right handed bow, forgot to mention.... if anyone has one send me the price and details please

I have a Clearwater Archery PowerMag.
70 lb
28 inch draw (This is adjustable)
Wisker B arrow rest (1 yr old)
Martin crosshair sight.
String needs to be replaced.
Kwikee quiver

Cheap !!!

PM if interested.

Slick, I have an old Hoyt that I bought used about 7 years ago. Had it completely checked out and had a new string put on at a shop on Nolensville Rd (no longer in business). I hung it up about three years ago to get something lighter and smaller.

It's a 29 or 30in. draw with a prong style rest. Comes with a stabilizer and some aluminum arrows. Shoots fine but I don;t use it anymore. I'll make you a good deal on it. If you are interested, reply.

+1.
I gave my old PSE to a 12 yr old kid, who's family could not afford to buy him a bow.
It is not much of a bow,but it is the best bow in the world to that kid.

Well anyone else? Most have been out of my price range and im not getting any replies on the ones that i could afford

Keep asking slick. You might even post this in the "Serious Deer Hunting" section. It is sure worth a try.

My last bow, I gave to a great fellow that was injured and out of work. He told me thank you about 100 times. I can still see the smile on his face.

My 16 year old nephew started saving his money for a bow a few weeks ago. The next Sunday at church, he was telling me what bows he had looked at on Saturday at Bass Pro. As he was talking, my best friend "browtines" and bow hunting buddy walks up. I introduce them and tell my nephew to share his story again, so browtines can here his excitement.

To my surprise, browtines says: "I've got a perfectly good High Country bow that is a deer killing machine. I don't use it now that I bought my Mathews DXT, but it is a perfect bow. Your welcome to use it as long as you need it!"

My nephew now is driving tacks at 20 yards and in... and improving at 30 yards.

I sincerely hope you find what your looking for real soon.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Also that was very nice of browtines to help your nephew out. Hope he gets a good'un with it.

I have a 2005 Reflex Growler made by Hoyt for sale. It'll come with string leaches, vibration dampeners, a quiver, and a whisker biscuit.
