Anyone hunting the KY Opener?

Looking forward to it. I haven't hunted opening weekend since 2017. I don't anticipate much but I'll just be happy to be 25' up a tree.
25'? Dang junior that's a skyscraper for you and what are you trying to hunt giraffes? Y'all ken-duckians are strange folks but good luck

I had plans to hunt tomorrow evening, but it looks like we may get rained out. I can't remember the last time it rained on opening weekend.

For some reason I cannot get fired up about hunting this weekend. But, give me a antelope or elk tag and I'd be chomping at the bit.

Good luck to everyone else. Wishing you all the best.

Hottest morning I can remember hunting in a long time. I was drenched when I got in the stand and took over an hour to cool off 🥵

@Hduke86 hey my feet reach the foot rest.

I know one bow Hunter that risked lightning strikes in Trigg county. 6 of us had a good dove shoot in between the storms. 45 birds between us. I couldn't hit the side of a barn from the inside till I figured out I still had the kicks high Flyer duck choke in my gun and started taking longer shots. Came home tonight soaked but it was a good day

I was checking in, hoping to see some successful hunt pics. Good luck to all you hunting today.
It's smoking hot. Seen one doe yesterday morning. Got rained out yesterday evening. Had church this morning. In the stand now. Have seen a doe and 2 fawns. I think the fawn wanted my snacks (see snack wrapper on bottom of stand 😆)
