Anyone killed a turkey with a bow

Wasn't too difficult. I was hunting the edge of a thicket. I heard the turkey walking. Drew back. When it steped out, I busted it.

I have as well. Drawing back is the toughest part, after that its just the shot. Pretty rewarding. Looking forward to doing it again this spring.

Twice as rewarding to kill with a bow. All mine were killed from a blind. Put your decoys about 15 yards in front of you and you should have a chip shot.

Thanks everybody...I think I will try it this season. Sounds like a blind is the way to go.

Depends on your terrain. The farm I hunt is all peaks and valleys so it is actually easier to bow hunt those birds without a blind.

very hard...i killed one last fall with a bow....it took me years to do it but i shot her at 37 yards and killed her.......but its more challening.....
