Cold and windy here. Jumped 2 coming in. They always seem to be at the base of trees that I have stands in

Yes....beutiful morning.... already had a few early movers....lone spike cruising.....then couple does and yearlings...saw several young bucks chasing yesterday..... good luck hunting everyone.....and timberjack86 hope your boy gets him a deer this morning.

I think today is day 8. Been pretty slow. Think I've seen one deer in the evening, about 3pm. No shooters. 3 or 4 different bucks all being small. 5 bobcat sightings. 2 yote sightings. Wish something would cooperate.

Same for me. Jumped a buck and doe on the way in. They were right beside my stand.

Not hunting but my MIL who lives across the road says a buck is bedded down in the field 100 yds from her garage. I'd go over and try to shoot him but if he's that dumb, he must be small.

I'm on day 8. Took last Fri off to bow hunt before ky gun opener. Seen a lot of deer last Fri - Tues but sightings have gone down. Only been skunked one sit and that was Wednesday afternoon.
