Anyone Sharpen Their Blades Themselves?

I have a diamond stone I inherited from my wife's grandfather. I don't think it was ever used. While watching the little league game I did consistent, light strokes on the stone with my Grim Reaper blades. I disassembled the heads and did 5,3,1 stroke sequences on each blade. I was able to get them sharper than factory. I will be doing this from now on. It took just a few minutes and gave me peace of mind.

I always touch up dull blades , but I replace any that have chips or are too damaged to sharpen .

Owned a Spiderco sharpening kit for almost 20 years now, so yes I sharpen everything from knives, to mechanical broad heads to scissors.
