Does anyone shoot a z7 with a 26.5 in draw? Cant get mine to paper tune with these gold tip pro arrows, the arrow is not stiff enough and I can't go any shorter and I can't back off the weight anymore. What arrow is everyone shootin?

I shoot the Z7 extreme tactical. 27 in draw with the Carbon Express Mayhem 250's. They fly great! I would recomend them if your considering switching arrows.

I am shootin the 55 75 an I have shot my bow at 70 pound pull down to 62, letrfly, what rest do you shoot? I am shootin the Qad the 140 dollar one so I know its not my rest thats junk.

Thats a stiff spine if your bow is <70# !! I always wondered if an overspined arrow would still shoot good!!! I shoot the CE maxima hunter 350s at 70# out of my z7extreme and they fly like darts out to 60 yds!! Havent got the guts to gop much past 60 yet

Is the bow shooting spot on other than thru the paper? The reason I am asking is, I get a slight right tear every time. No one else does when they shoot my bow. The only way I have gotten it to not tear on me is by shooting a heavier arrow. That is not an option I want to choose. We finally decided that it is just one of those weird things and quit worrying about it.

That's not correct..On carbon express arrows the (250 and 350) don't represent the spine of the arrows.. He is actually underspined a good bit if he is shooting 70 lbs or even close to it. a 250 is a 410 spine. The 350 is a 334 spine. He would be much better off and safer shooting the 350s if he wanted to stay with CE. I prefer Gold Tips myself. :) Just a quick chart..

If others can shoot a bullet hole and you can't, it's your form. Don't worry I am not the best paper shooter either. Love to walkback tune though.

Yep... Your right... Brain fart.. but I bet that's his problem if he is in the neighborhood of 68+ . Gold tips are great arrows for the money.

just a word of advise but dont always go off what a manufacture chart says, they leave a lot to be desired.

if you have not tried pinwheel software then you should give it a whirl. will get you right where you need to be.

I shoot harvest time arrows and according to their chart i should shoot a 400 fine but with todays bows and what not i found out that a 350 spine was actually much better and the 400 was actually a bit underspine. some may never see a difference but the spine issue may be the cause of some having issues with tuning broadheads vs field points.
