I'm looking to buy another bow before next season starts. I've got Mathews LX, Monster and Reezen, but looking to buy another. Anyone have any experience with Mathews Chill R, Helium and/or Creed? Thanks in advance

I have shot the Chill R and it was okay, but I wasn't overly impressedsmooth draw, just a little hand vibe, better balanced but still top heavy, but I hated the mushy backwall and the very low brace height and the speed isn't what it is advertised, which is normal for Mathews (subtract 10 from what they said). I wouldn't limit yourself to just Mathews. Several companies like Hoyt and Elite have caught them IMO, and I recommend you go and shoot them as well. Being a "Mathews" guy for years, I have traded off both my Mathews (Reezen and Conquest Triumph) and now own an Elite E35 with a E32 on order...I personally liked them for me that much better.

I have owned all the ones you mentioned and the Chill R is a GREAT shooting bow. Holds great at full draw, smooth draw, quiet.. The Creed is a close second to the Chill R. Helium was ok for me.. but not one of my favs.. oh yeah back wall on the Chill R is fine for me, but if you shoot it and prefer a little more solid back wall Mathews is releasing the new rock mods for the Chillr soon that will make it even solid.

Elite makes a fine bow . I love the grip and draw cycle .

That is exactly what sold me on the Energy bows Radar, the grip and draw cycleI haven't seen that smooth and even of a draw cycle in a long time. I also really like how balanced the bow was without any weight on it and the speed isn't anything to look over.

Try the new Chill X, but if you are looking at the Chill R try one with the new mods. I think thee new mods are somewhere around $30.

I love my chill! Best bow Mathews has ever made in my opinion. Of course every Mathews I've ever owned was a tack driver at 70-80 yards.
