Apex Atomic Range Rover

Have been shooting the Apex single pin couple weeks and really like it. Tried several sight pins since last season this has been my favorite followed closely by HHA. Do have a question for those who use this style sight pin . At what rang do you lock down for hunting right now I'm at 30yds. seems that is pretty good giving my arrow trajectory but thought some might have more insight that have used "slider sights' more than me.

I have used this style of pin for years. First it was a sightmaster then it was a toxonics slide bar and now am shooting a HHA. I sight mine in to be able to stay in the kill zone out to 30 yds. My zero spot is normal around 22 or 23 yds. If you hold dead in the center of the rib cage of the deer and it is closer it will shoot high. At 15 yds is the highest spot of trajectory for me. I high about 2 1/2" high but also if you shoot farther it will drop. For me my set up drops about 2.5" low at 30 yds so anything out to 30 yds with me holding dead center the arrow will be in the vital area. Anything further than that you have time to move the pin provided you have sighted the pin in for longer distances.
