I signed up for the Elk hunt online. There is no charge if you bought an annual sportsman license. In the event that I get lucky and win, I might be carrying my .270 instead of my Parker. I haven't decided if I would want to bowhunt or not, but given this is will be my first season hunting anything with a bow, I might lay one down with the rifle. I would hate to mess up and not get another chance for 10 years. I've got my fingers crossed!
