If any of you folks near Jackson are needing a place to shoot their bow, TWRA has set up a range at Lake Graham behind the bait shop.
In the field there are several target butts, a boar, deer, coyote and buffalo. there is also a broadhead target for checking broadheads. yardage range from 10 yds to 50 yds.

also a small walk thru 3D range, field points, only with 3 targets set up in one of the gulleys with steps going down. good practice for tree stand shots. the walk thru has 6 deer, 2 turkey, one wolf and one bear targets.

were you at the last class?

the walk-thru is to the right of the shooting block, between the 2 yellow markers.

Cool I really enjoyed the class thought it was really helpful I teach hunters saftey myself and feel really good giving something back to our sport.

is the range a free range?

yes. no lake permit needed. all they ask is to park in front of the store in the paved parking lot, not on the gravel drive to the back. and to use common sense safety.
