I bought a 1/2 dozen new arrows Friday PSE carbon force x-weaves.300 spine. Shot them Saturday Morning and picked the best 3 out of the bunch. So Sunday afternnon I went hunting and around 5:30 i had a yote come under my stand at 14 yards, I drew back and let the arrow fly and at about 15 feet the arrow split apart into three pieces. I didnt hit a limb twig or anything. Has this happened to anyone else. These are the same type I've always shot with this bow, and have never had a problem.

Dang thats not good at all.. glad you didn't get hurt. I make double sure to flex my arrows before I shoot mine for this very reason.

I could have easily had this happen to me this year. I was replacing all of my nocks with lighted ones and found 5 out of the 6 with hairline cracks in them. I just consider myself lucky that mine didn't split apart too.

I do inspect each arrow for cracks, but thats the only test that I ever give them, maybe now I'll start doing a "flex test" but until this happened never found the need to.

It split from the front backward not up around the nock, started about an 1/8 inch behind nock.

Check them when you practice , especially when you are shooting tight groups . You probably spilt them when practicing .

I use ACC 3-49 uni-bushings in my carbon express. Eliminated the cracking problem.
