I'm thinkin about changing hunting arrows and was leaning towards the Gold tip hunter xt which weighs 8.9 gpi. But Beman has the ICS hunter which weighs 8.4 gpi meaning it would shoot faster, but i want not only speed and accuracy but also durability. So if anyone shoots these i'd like to know your opinion. I can shoot out to 50 yards and am still trying to push the limits of my ability and my bow.

I've shot them both and they are great shafts. The Gold Tips have better tolerances but are a little more expensive. Between those 2, I'd go with the Gold Tips.

I have refletched many different brands of arrows and can't say that any are harder to refletch than another. There are many good arrows out there. The most important thing to me is buy the highest grade you can afford. Regardless if it's Gold Tip, Beaman or Easton a .001 tolerance will shoot better than a .006 arrow. Straight well matched arrows will shoot better and go where you point it if shot from a properly set up bow. As far as being tough I haven't had a problem with any arrow I have shot in the post except for one cheap arrow that is not made anymore.
