Looks like ya done some nice work, I've been thinkin about do'n some crestin work for a while just aint sat down and got busy with it.

I have done some of the wraps on a few just to try it out, they actually work purty good, nothin to it, but the painted crest look a lot better.

Are those wooden arrows or what, I;ve never shot them but some people really like'm.

They are carbon Goldtips w/woodgrain finish. They are also finished w/wraps from onestringer on tradgang.com, he has many different designs to choose from. Wraps are sooooo simple to do, I used to dip and crest my own but will never do it again.

They look great, the ones I done are a bright orange so they MITE be easier to find, the only cedar arowws I ever shot were the ones you by when your a kid, I shot them from a old fiber glass bow I traded for, first thing you shoot they break like a pencil, Ive wondered if the ones they sell to the grown ups are any better, but regaurdless I'll stick to aluminum or carbon.

I've shot some wood that have taken direct impact better than some carbons I have shot. then again have taken shots they break like match sticks. Since I fletch my own, I quit trying to do cedar shafts since I couldnt find good quality shafts consistantly like I can with carbons.

good choice of colors on those shafts. purty.

I havent been useing carbon arrows long, takes me a while to catch up with the crowd I guess, matter of fact I still shoot some of my old xx75s in 2117.

But I like the carbons purty good, mostly I buy the clearence arrows from wally world but kinda curious if thers that much difference in the higher priced ones, mite have to buy a few to try.

the difference in the higher price ones is the straightness tolerance. and maybe the camo job. the ones with the camo wrap/drip are heavier than the black ones. I have been buying the clearance ones also, stripping the vanes and replacing with feathers. as trad shooters, I dont think we would be able to shoot the difference between the .006 tolerance and the .001 tolerance shafts. pro compound, yes, one could see a difference.

you may have noticed this, carbon arrows are generally too stiff for most trad bows. using heavier points help cure this problem.
