Well I have started off well . We won the team shoot today shooting 27 up . I shot 8 up by myself with 5 12's and only one eight . Not bad for only 10 targets . So we will see how it goes the rest of the weekend . Wish me luck . I'm in the middle by the way , in the red .

Good luck tomorrow. See ya out there. We're sitting here in the hotel watching the tornado coverage on TV. Looking forward to rockin and rollin tomorrow :) From the sound of it, we are gonna get all our shooting in before the rain comes on Sunday.
 
^^^ I sure do hope so ! I don't wanna play in the rain . The range we shot today I had to shoot a target my teammates estimated to be 41 yards ! That was after my 10 step walk up from the stake ! It got interesting with only a 30 yard pin . Aimed high and let her fly lol

barely caught the low twelve . My wife said "see I told you you could do it " I said "I'd rather be lucky than good any day " lol

It's just the string not including the cable you can buy them cheaper than that.

Oh yeah congrats and nice shooting. Moving out of novice next year???
 
He had a strong finish at the shoot itself too. Finished 10th but we all had those shots we wish we could do over. I ended up 18th.

I shot more 12s than I think I've ever shot in a tournament but unfortunately....had plenty of 8s to cancel them out. I was shooting everything left...by about 5" on 25-27 yd targets which were most of them we had. I lost 4 points by busting nocks of guys in my group that knocked me into 8s...when they were 10s. Made an adjustment on my sight for the evening round and corrected the left problem...but was too little too late. Glad to have it over with though...now I can watch everybody else shoot their rounds tomorrow and hope Carrie finishes with a strong round.
