There will be 30 targets20 of which are new! Each day the start will be 8am with scorecards in by 5pm each day. Groups will be busted and shooters will be peer grouped according to similar shooting classes as much as possible. Speeds will also be checked, so make sure your equipment is within the posted class speed limits. You may elect to shoot all 30 within the same day, or shoot 1/2 Saturday and 1/2 on Sunday. The cost of the shoot is $25 and make sure you have your ASA number at the shoot. For those that wish to come out and shoot for fun, that cost is $20. There is no cost for those that wish to come out to spectate and join in the excitement and check out the world of competitive archeryso bring a friend or let them know! We are excited and honored to be hosting the Championship this year and can't wait to see everyone there!

Those that are a part of clubs that have Facebook or webpages, could you please copy and paste this announcement on those pages please?

Is there anywhere we can get directions to the shoot site? The only place I've been that is close to the Hermitage is by the entrance to the house itself and your club might not be anywhere even close to that. Lol

From I-40 get off of on exit 221 and then head North on SR45/Old Hickory Blvd and go approx. 3 miles. You will come to a big intersection (Old Hickory Blvd and Lebanon Rd), and there will be a Firestone, Goodwill, Hobby Lobby and Big Lots on the right and you will turn right (east) on Lebanon Rd. Go 1 1/2 miles and turn left (beside Kroger) onto Shute Ln and then go approx. 3/4 mile and we will be on the left just past the light at the Saundersville Rd intersectionwe are the only thing on that side of the street.

It appears that we may have a little rain tonight and tomorrow morning; however, the forecasters are calling for the majority of it to be south of us. Our course tends to not hold a lot of water, but there is a few spots that could be a little muddy if the forecasters end up being wrong, they are never wrong , and we get a significant rain fall tonight. So, you may want to plan accordingly.

Also, known yardage classesmake sure you bring your own rangefinder.

Some have asked for directions and here they are. We are excited to see each you and drive safe coming in!

Directions
From I-40 take exit 221 and go north on US-41/Old Hickory Blvd until you reach Lebanon Rd and then turn right on Lebanon Rd. Go approx. 1.5 miles and you will turn left onto Shute Ln (beside Kroger) and we are just past the Saundersville Rd traffic light on the left.

From I-65 Take exit 92 and go south on US-41/Old Hickory Blvd, turn left on Shute Ln (beside Andrew Jackson Elementary) and we are just past the sharp curve on the right.

I will be there! Rain or shine. Its raining here now and I'm going out there to shoot from the barn with my lens and clarifier out just to note any impact differences in case I have to shoot without them due to rain.

I forgot to tell you guys that I was the rain maker...seems like everywhere I go it rains. I went to ASA Florida...it rained the night before and early that morning. I went to ASA Tuscaloosa and you know how it was there. I went to the ASA KY and of course it rained that Friday and Friday night too. We've been shooting the K.O.S. series locally and they are money shoots...two out of three I've been to...rain. lol Then there's good chances of rain in the forecast all weekend for the state shoot. Chances are...since I'm going to the ASA Classic in Cullman...it's gonna rain.
