I know a few people have them. What do you think about them, do you like them? How do they compare to other kayaks (that is, if you have experience with other kayaks)? Pros, cons, etc?
I bet you can stand in it. Ascend boats have a tri-hull design that makes them "feel" tippy when standing but are actually very stable. It took some practice and confidence building but I'm pretty used to it now. Tie a rope to the front handle to hold on to when going from sitting to standing makes it MUCH easier! I tied a loop and added a piece of hose on mine to make a handle.Daniel n":rld66cpf said:I have the D10. I'm about 6'1 and 250lbs. I can't stand in it but all smaller person may be able to. I have fished up to 6 or 7 hours in it and I've been very pleased.

I may give it a try. It sounds like you have it figured out.CATCHDAWG":2z7accwz said:I bet you can stand in it.
